I need pics of how the factory installed the front spring mounts etc. Which end gets the solid mount and which gets the floater? 			<description>Believe it or not after 50 years the fuel gauge on my 59 has stopped working.  Because of the sporadic needle bounce i suspect the problem is the fuel sensor. 			<description>Anyone know if the steel fuel line that runs from the tank to the fuel pump on my 59 Star Chief 389 is one piece or is it suppose to have a rubber splice where it bends to come up to the engine. I know it has rubber just off the fuel pump, but this is down low nearer the frame. Seems like it should be one piece.</description>

			<description>My Star Chief needs new hood bumpers in the front. The rear ones are smaller than the front ones. I got new rear ones but the front ones are being a pain in the   !

Can anyone verify that the front ones should be larger than the rear ones? and maybe a part number?  The front rubbers are 1 1/8&quot; diameter and 3/8&quot; thick. At least that is what is on it now.

The boot is a nice heavy vinyl material that seems to be the correct shape with all the snaps in the right places. However with the top down I can only get it to attach at the side pinchweld or the interior trim piece, but not both. 			<description><![CDATA[Has anyone replaced the weather strip on the vent window of there project car? It seems the sash channel must be removed from the vent window frame to remove the vent window.  My frame has a screw at the top and two rivits on the bottom bracket. If removal  of the sash channel is necessary what do you use for a source for rivits?

Ames Performance has the parts, I wanted to know if my plan of attack is the way to go.

			<description><![CDATA[I had water in my trunk today after heavy rain, and i discovered 2 drainhoses in the inner cornerīs of the trunk that drains water from the buttom of the rear window. These 2 rubberhoses are left open in the trunk, and this is how the water got in. I remember a while back I could not get one of theupper control arm bushing pieces that screws into the arm to go in. Is there a trick to this or are mine just worn out? I'll take a picture if I cannot get it figured out tomorrow. I think I got one of them in but the other would not go.



Does anyone have a manual steering centerlink or front sway bar? </description>
