Just thought I would share my newest ride with you all.

This is my brother's 1962 Corvette that, due to his tragic death just over a year ago, I have purchased from his widow and returned to Maine. My brother Peter loved this car and would never have sold it, so I purchased it so that it would stay in the family. His widow really wanted me to have it as he and I were close and both car guys. He and I often spoke of restoring the car to it's glory days so that is what I intend to do. The car ...

I told my mom that I'd build the front wiring harness (head and park lights, horn I guess) on her '59 Biscayne. So, is a Pontiac or Buick the same so I can use the pattern and schematics?

Or is this something that can be bought new? Though I'd rather build one...

Do you guys have the schematics I can work from?

I picked this up in Dec off CL for $400. Totally rust free (northern folks, eat your heart out) and ran...On 2 cylinders. lol I drove it from Leander to my home on 2 cylinders. Someone had put on a valve cover incorrectly and mangled the braces in to an S shape. Kept the intake valves open and the exhaust valves closed. Also, the no. 1 intake pushrod had gone THROUGH the rocker arm. Replaced all that and the ignition module and it was running like new and even the A/C works. Not much to look ...

I decided yesterday to browse craigslist to see if I could find a 1963 Catalina or Grand Prix for a decent price. I originally wanted a 1963 Catalina but I found my '62 Catalina for a good price and then found my '62 GP for a good price but I really wanted a '63. I found one in NM, It's a 63 Catalina 2 dr ht with a Grand Prix grill, 8 lugs, 3 speed on the floor and bucket seats, no console. The price was fair and the rust is pretty minimal. Of course it's still a project but to me it's worth ...

I finally got rid of my '79 F250! I found a guy who was looking to get rid of his 1986 Power Ram short bed, single cab, 318, 4 speed, 4x4. Hell yeah! We even traded. That old Dodge runs good and will do great down at the ranch. This is the only picture I have but I already started waxing it (it's clenaing up nice) and I took off that stupid cholo visor and the off road lights will be gone soon. It's not as old as I would have liked but it's 4x4/ 4 speed and it runs good.

I had to give you an update on the TA. Found out the local tuning place had a Mustang dyno and was having a dyno day. $75 for three runs. They specialize in Mustangs and Subarus. I went down first to look at the setup and see what I had to do first. I went home and got the Ta and did my runs. My first pull was at 10 pounds but the dyno computer dropped out during the run and I didn't get a good reading. The operator said it showed 750 hp before it went off line. didn't show any torque. Wow!! ...

I paid $400 for the pair so I figured I couldn't go wrong. The '59 Lesabre was just to save from the crusher, plus I need the centerlink and the front sway bar for my Pontiac. The 1967 Skylark is just bad ass so I bought it. It's a rust free 2 door hard top. I'm thinking SLEEPER project. 455 with a 4 speed eventually. Just prime it and leave it. It's rust free with only surface rust. Not even a pinhole in the body, floor pans or trunk pans. It's a 300ci 2 barrel auto right now. I have an extra ...

I bought this car right after high school. It's all original except for the paint and carpet. It's a 401 Nailhead with a dynaflow tranny. I paid $1700 for it and drove it home. It ran good for a few months until the waterpump went out. Then about 6 months later it would not start and has not started since. It is getting fuel and spark. I think it jumped time. As soon as the Pontiac is finished I will get to the Buick ASAP.
