I have disconnected my heater core since it stopped working and i am finally at a place where i can spend some time trying to fix it. Anyone have suggestions of where to begin, how to remove, what to look for.

Changed the transmission fluid and oil, new transmission linkage and dipstick, and got the vacuum line pulled for the brake system. There's a check valve in there that has terrible flow, I think that's my problem with poor braking. I'll bleed them out one time, replace the lines and see if I can either find a new valve or fix the old one. Ordered up a Mallory Unilite points conversion kit for the ignition system and have a few miscellaneous things ...
